Jim
Nellis is a Financial Planning Advisor with Regency Advisory
Corporation/Assante Financial Management Ltd. He received
his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University
of Saskatchewan. Jim is a Finance and Wealth management
expert and has been advising business clients in Saskatoon
since 2000.
Jim is passionate about serving the diverse
needs of small business owners to help ensure long term
growth and prosperity. Jim's many years of experience working
with the Saskatoon business community allow him to understand
many of the important issues that face business owners.
As the son of an independent business owner, Jim recognizes
the impact of a businessperson's decisions on both their
personal affairs and their company's prosperity, and the
need to successfully coordinate these two components of
an entrepreneur's life.
Jim is actively involved in the business
community as a member and former chair of the NSBA (North
Saskatoon Business Association) Economic Development Committee.
Jim is on the organizing committee for the popular "Lessons
I Have Learned" annual seminar, designed to provide
business owners with an opportunity to learn from each other's
successes. Jim is also a member of CAFE (Canadian Association
of Family Enterprise) and volunteers with Junior Achievement
in assisting with their Economics of Staying In School program.
In addition to his community involvement,
Jim has also found time to publish various articles in the
Saskatchewan Business Magazine related to personal and business
finances and has completed the Canadian Securities Course.
