In 2001, Steven joined Assante Financial Management as a full-time Financial Advisor out in Humboldt, SK. Since then, Steven has become a member of Advocis and has served as the former Vice-President for the Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce. In 2004, he also served as the Chair of the Carlton Trail Regional Economic Development Authority (REDA), and as the Chair for Capital Investment Group for Action Humboldt.

Steven's background in Agricultural Economics, and his active involvement in the Humboldt business community and in his family's farming business, have allowed him to understand many of the important issues that face business owners in the Humboldt region.

Since 1964 Steven has been a loyal resident of Humboldt, SK. Since the age of eight, he has been actively involved with every aspect of his parents' business, Krueger Implement Ltd. until the sale of the company in 1980 (as White Farm Equipment). Steven is married to Rachel Krueger, with whom he raises their two sons Nigel and Jacob. He is actively involved in helping coach his sons sporting teams.
